:: The Seven Underwater Wonders of the World ::
Of course we both dream
of visiting all of CEDAM’s 7 Underwater Wonders of the World. CEDAM International is an organization dedicated
to conservation, education, diving, and marine research. They began the
Seven Wonders of the World project in 1989. The message was simple: If underwater
wonders are not protected, they will be lost forever.
The wonders are:

Palau – Republic of Palau
·
The Belize Barrier Reef – Belize & Honduras
Visited in 2007 in the Caye Caulker and
Ambergris Caye (Belize), and again in 2007 in Utila, Roatán and the
Cayos Cochinos (Honduras)
·
The Galapagos Islands – Ecuador
·
The Northern Red Sea – Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Sudan
Visited in 2005 in Dahab (Egypt) and in 2007 in
Aquaba (Jordan)
·
Lake Baikal – Russia
·
The Great Barrier Reef – Australia
·
The Deep Sea Vents – Pacific and Atlantic Oceans
