Often, the regions, countries and places we visit during our journeys take on an exotic quality. What matters is to get away from the established routes and seek something that little bit more special and authentic. Often, we might have to overcome a bit of hardship and logistical challenges since our journeys most often don’t run smoothly. This is all part of the fun.
In our view, a journey is something you would recommend to others. To us, what really matters, is to get away from the established routes and seek something that little bit more special and authentic. We are not talking about the ultimate expedition, but to move away from the familiar, out of the comfort zone, where everyday situations and events take on an exotic quality.

We've completed many unforgettable journeys across the Mediterranean’s islands and archipelagos. Our love for this sun-soaked region runs deep. From Denmark, it’s just a short flight to the heart of "the Med"—a world of turquoise waters, charming coastal towns, and rich island cultures.
Whether sailing the Aegean, diving shipwrecks off Cyprus, or hiking Corsican trails, each trip uncovers new wonders. We've wandered the Balearics, sailed there to discover hidden coves of the Îles d'Hyères in South of France, and dived deep into underwater treasures. Every island has its own story—from Italy’s rugged Sardinia to Greece’s serene Small Cyclades.
Besides the stunning nature, the Med and its islands are steeped in the legacy of great civilizations. From the mythic tales of ancient Greece to the engineering marvels of the Roman Empire, this region was the cradle of Western culture. Byzantine churches, Roman amphitheaters, and Greek temples still stand as timeless reminders of its rich past. Every shore and stone whispers stories of gods, emperors, and seafarers. For history lovers, the Mediterranean is not just a destination—it’s a journey through time.

With +25 trips across islands and archipelagos in the Mediterranean ocean, our passion for exploring this region is boundless. We love to travel, sail, and dive across these stunning archipelagos, each offering its own unique charm and beauty.
Living in Denmark, many of the islands are just 4-5 hours from Denmark by flight and it is therefore almost irresistible not take a trip into "the Med" quite often.
Every island we visit has its own story, culture, and breathtaking landscapes that captivate us.

We did seveal morning and late afternoon dives each day.
The picture is from a hiking trip across Porquerolles, the largest of the four islands in the archipelago.
The picture is our friend's boat sheltered in a remote cove on Île de Port-Cros in the Golden Islands during a sailing and diving trip across the islands. The entire island is a natural park.
